김동현 박사는 ‘Digital Futures: Urban Intelligence & Smart Technologies’ 세션에서 “Comparing Visual Risk Environments of Elderly Walking-Related Unintentional Injuries Using Street-View Imagery and Vision-Language Models”를 주제로 발표했습니다.

Dr. Donghyun Kim presented “Comparing Visual Risk Environments of Elderly Walking-Related Unintentional Injuries Using Street-View Imagery and Vision-Language Models” in the “Digital Futures: Urban Intelligence & Smart Technologies” session.
This study compares the walking environments associated with pedestrian-vehicle collisions and outdoor falls among older adults in Seoul. Using street-view imagery, vision-language models (VLMs), and text-mining techniques, the study identifies environmental risk factors and examines how the two types of injuries are associated with different characteristics of the walking environment.

Putu Indah Adnyani 학생은 ‘Regenerating Urban Fabric: Heritage, Informality, and Adaptive Reuse’세션에서 “Temporary Migrant Labor and the Limits of Revitalization in a Shrinking Industrial City”를 주제로 발표했습니다.

Putu Indah Adnyani presented “Temporary Migrant Labor and the Limits of Revitalization in a Shrinking Industrial City” in the “Regenerating Urban Fabric: Heritage, Informality, and Adaptive Reuse” session.
This study examines how the influx of migrant workers is reshaping everyday life and the commercial and social environment in Dong-gu, Ulsan, a shrinking industrial city. In particular, it explores both the potential of temporary labor migration to bring new vitality to the neighborhood and the limitations of such migration in leading to long-term neighborhood transformation.

원진호 학생은 ‘Transportation and Safety’세션에서 “How Urban Street Conditions Shape Pedestrian Route Choice and Perceived Time and Distance: A Virtual Reality Walking Experiment”를 주제로 발표했습니다.

Jinho Won presented “How Urban Street Conditions Shape Pedestrian Route Choice and Perceived Time and Distance: A Virtual Reality Walking Experiment” in the “Transportation and Safety” session.
This study uses a VR walking experiment to examine how pedestrians choose their routes and perceive travel time and distance. In particular, it investigates whether different elements of the walking environment affect actual route choice and subjective perceptions of time and distance in different ways.

류민지 학생은 ‘Regenerating Urban Fabric: Heritage, Informality, and Adaptive Reuse’세션에서 “Resident Relocation During Housing Redevelopment and Neighborhood Crime: Evidence from Seoul, South Korea”를 주제로 발표했습니다.

Minji Yoo presented “Resident Relocation During Housing Redevelopment and Neighborhood Crime: Evidence from Seoul, South Korea” in the “Regenerating Urban Fabric: Heritage, Informality, and Adaptive Reuse” session.
This study examines the relationship between resident relocation during housing redevelopment and neighborhood crime in Seoul. In particular, it distinguishes redevelopment-induced resident relocation from general household changes in surrounding neighborhoods to investigate how population changes during the redevelopment process are associated with neighborhood crime.
